@Grieffon
Reasonably unsucky alicorn OCs are fine: just pretend they’re historical figures from centuries before the show’s time. The raw magic from ages past has somewhat diminished in the present era.
Heck, even Twilight Sue can be explained as the result of the Bene Celestiae breeding programme intended to reawaken what was lost her name is a killing word.
@SeraphimDawn
They already did. EQG Lovecraft saw these creatures in his dreams. Terrible shapes twisting and turning in horrible dark dances not meant to be spoken from the mouths of men.
Aaaaah… reminds me so much of the Sonic fandom’s terrible OCs…
You could probably divide said OCs by their personalities and other cliched, Sue-ish traits.
>is the significant other of a canon character
>is the best friend of a canon character
>is loved by everyone despite being a huge, unlikable douchebag, often mixed with the above traits
>is better at something than a canon character(better sorcerer than Twilight, faster than Rainbow Dash, better with animals that Fluttershy, etc.)
>has hideously broken, exotic abilities that make him or her far more powerful than any other character
Just don’t make them cross the mirror into EqG territory, we don’t know what abomination may be unleashed into their world…. or is that a good thing? O_o
@RIG
So regardless of how well their personality is handled and what actual development they have, their quality is entirely dependant on the method used to generate a picture of them. A little judgemental, no?
