Wait this makes no sense. Why would she be boring just because she is an earth pony? Earth ponies are fun too. Pinkie Pie and Applejack are as interesting as all the pegasus and unicorn characters. Why must you be able to fly or use magic to be an interesting character? Is this some kind of legitimate racism toward fictional species?

I’m a little sorry that she is not a unicorn, as a earth pony she has more limited abilities than her friends and this makes her less interesting as a character.  
As long as there is no magic in this world there are no problems, but if in the end the magic will be restored and the ponies regain their powers, since after the series should continue to have her as the main protagonist, I fear that in the future it could become a bit boring since it will eventually be focused on her.  
I wonder what exactly they have planned for her, maybe even earth ponies will be able to do magic like unicorns?  
Or, for some reason, will they turn her into an alicorn like they did with Twilight and she will be crowned princess of the new Equestria?  
I don’t know, I like the feeling that it could happen …
