Starlight was literally going to end Equestria.  
And it was because she had mostly gone insane by that point due to the fact in her mind she was being wronged yes, but again at the same time, she was going to rip the scroll in half that would have sealed Equestria’s fate forever had Twilight not managed to talk her down.
 
I say this as a massive fan of Starlight, even during that time.

Maybe SG had better to have a western duel with CG in this show and buried her with sympathy.She has been the empathy element for a long time，hasn’she？

This foal had lived a comet-like villianous life，she deserved a magnificent doom，like a sumurai

I love CG and her destruction

The way i see is it is that they just have limits to their forgiveness, i mean yeah discord is the reason the finale happened but people constantly forget that he wasn’t easily forgiven as well, he was following his own chaotic moral code, they have come to accept on a certain level that he is a spirit of chaos so he’ll do things chaotically. Rainbow dash: thats discord for ya. and wanted to help his friend twilight believe in herself to be a effective leader of equestria. He also planned on being a safety net incase things got too bad, so his actions were due to arrogance and not thinking things through rather than intended true danger on the citizens of eq or at the very least he didn’t do it because he wanted to cause mayhem just for the sake of it. Despite this the characters were pissed at him and he wasn’t forgiven until he deflected a beam from tirek that could have possibly easily killed him to get the ponies free and can be seen helping buy time so the mane 5 and spike to save eq. Considering that its unreasonable to think they would forgiven the villains so easily who didn’t actually feel any remorse and with starlight and discord we didn’t see there intended evil actions as evil as the 3 intended actions. So i just see it as they have a limit to instant forgiveness.

You’re not wrong from a realistic standpoint, but I’m talking in how the show usually works.  
If everything worked how people like me and you (and even Starswirl the Bearded did at first later on ironically)  
Then characters like Discord and Starlight Glimmer wouldn’t be around, and the Series Finale wouldn’t have been even remotely similar due to Discord not being around to mess things up.

That is one of the most ridiculous alternate fates for Cozy Glow. This is excessive even if there was an apology involved no matter how big.

Who knows what kind of a number a pepperoni pizza could do on Cozy Glow’s digestive system?
