You’re allowed to have your opinion, of course, but from where I sit the Disney series is so bad - and not just subjectively bad, but objectively bad - that it’s always a little surprising to me to hear people defend it. I also have to admit I’m usually kind of taken aback by the talking points it’s defenders make, as they are really aggressive for some reason.
 
There’s not a point you’ve made that I couldn’t respond to, but you can have the “win” this time - this is not a great venue for that discussion.

The new Star Wars movies are about as well written as the original trilogy. Again, this is a franchise about space wizards where politics and royalty are the same thing, entire planets consist of singular biomes, incomprehensible roars, grunts, bleeps, and bloops are legitimate languages that people inexplicably understand, human civilization has mastered space travel yet space suits don’t exist, and a regime of evil space Nazis were defeated by a ragtag group of hotshots with the aide of Vietcong teddy bears. Captain Phasma at least had a clear character; a domineering hardass. Meanwhile Boba Fett is the most popular Star Wars character ever, and all he’s got is a cool costume and five speaking lines of dialogue. And one of them was “AAAAAAAAA!”

And this is a site dedicated to a cartoon intended to sell toys to little girls. So by the same stroke, why are you wasting your time here?

See, this is the beauty of making use of poorly written characters from poorly wirtten movies like the new star wars trilogy. Much of what was not written about characters like Captain Phasma are completely up for interpretation, so for all we know, this could have actually happened in the span of time the trilogy takes place in. It’s ridiculous and nonsensical, but then again, so was much of the main movies.
