To be fair, peanuts isn’t known for having good visuals.
Even so, it’s simple style is still appealing, so simple styles aren’t always bad.
I actually like it’s visuals, especially the TV specials, and movies.
Writers paid attention a lot longer then season 5. They once explained that they found out about “Derpy Hooves” around the time the fourth episode was airing.
They should “cater” to fans. At least when adding things. When you remove or cancel things, you never know how reception might change with time.
I mean, wasn’t Brock removed from Pokémon in the Orange Islands because they thought fans wouldn’t like him but then he returned when fans were angry over his absence?

For the most part they pretty much do their own thing. If they only catered to fans, then as I said stuff like Twilicorn wouldn’t exist anymore.

There is no CA (CalArts) style, ironically all the shows that are labeled as such are made by artists or animators that didn’t even attend CA.
“CalArts style” is just a term a cranky John K. coined to complain about any cartoon made after 1960.
