Yeah the fans gravitating towards two character whom have had years of interpersonal relations and character growth via each other and great chemistry in general potentially moving towards a romantic relationship are complete hypocritical for not liking a bland dull character solely created to be a love interest that flop now being stitched to another character for no other reason that the writer have no idea what to do with him.

Dude I feel your pain man, I understand if you want to give up, but for me, I’m not giving up on flashlight, no matter how hard I take it. I’m praying that flashshimmer doesn’t become canon and both flash and sunset just stick as friends. I’m praying sci twi dumps timber and begins something with flash. I’m not quitting on flash and I’m not quitting on Sciflash/flashlight. I will not rest until I see Sciflash/flashlight become canon. We all know we prefer twilight for flash and I’ve already made my argument and plead to both DHX and nick confalone to make flashlight canon in both series cause I didn’t support these two shows just to have my ship sink to the bottom of the ocean and I cannot have that in my book or anyone else’s book. One way or another, I ain’t resting till I get flashlight sailing again. That’s a keepuh!

And it will be better cause it will be a relashanship built that has have time to build up insted of that stupid love of first sight kind of crap. And I will show this canon what a real romance looks like and how it can be newonsed and not take away from the core manage of the show like all the cry babies complain about

There’s always fanfiction and fanart. Yeah, I have to admit I get annoyed when people say that since I think it’s unadaptable for television or streaming or theatres, but I have to accept that people won’t care about it and I have learned this the hard way. Not to mention fanfiction is made by fans for fans.
 
People are allowed to ship whatever they want and enjoy what they do ship, even if canon just sunk our precious ship. You should do the same instead of focusing on just visible canon. Hell, there are AUs, or hell make your own alternate universe or continuity where Flash and Twily get together.
