It’s had longer to run up the totals, but “White Europeans are totes the coolest” has almost certainly killed more people over the millennia than “Let’s call ourselves ‘communists’ and then go Full Fascist Oligarchy as soon as The Revolution is over” has in the last century and a half.
It would make sense, both were forms of government that murdered millions of people. However, communism has been much more prolific than nazism in terms of how many people’s lives it has ruined so I think we already have the more “daring” form of government here already.
