It makes me think that the first movie was supposed to be set in Canterlot rather than the Crystal Empire originally

That scene actually made me laugh out loud. Damn, those extra scenes actually make the special even better than it was in the broadcast version and I bet we haven’t even seen all the deleted scenes yet!
