I’m saying you take the armband and swastika off and you have yourself a nazi uniform, without their trademark hooked symbol, and you have yourself a pretty bomb-ass suit. (Officer Uniform, in my opinion, was one of the best. The new Wolfenstein 2 design, with the leather trench coat, is by far my definition of high-class with sass.)

Disregard fuckface here for a moment and look at his uniform. Remove the swastika crap and suddenly you could walk into a bar and look like you own the place.
 
Now, of course, if some guy like this was walking around today, yeah, I’d be a bit suspicious. But, I cannot just assume he’s an asshole without getting to know him first. In the game, you pretty much immediately find out that this guy’s an asshole, but in real life it’d probably take a 5 minute conversation to find that out.
 
Though, if I were to be a nazi in this day and age, all things considered, I probably would be anti-social, wouldn’t go out much, and probably wouldn’t wear the attire. This is assuming a nazi in this day and age is smart. They kinda stopped accepting new members back in 1945, so…
 
Anyway, yeah, if that person’s being a bigot, then of course you have notion to call them a nazi if their views line up with nazi ideology and wearing the uniform just confirms that, but only after the fact. If they just hate people for no real reason, they’re just bigots. If they hate people and have major nazi views, like ones you can see in Wolfenstein 2, then that person’s more-than-likely a nazi.
 
But I realize you’re talking about Aryanne here. We have to remember that fictitious pieces are just that. Fiction. You do not hold [insert ANYPONY here] to a standard of, “Well, the pieces drawn of them clearly show sexual activity,” and attempt to argue that for the character in a legitimate stance.
 
If there’s one thing I know about ponies, the only thing all of them really share in common is being cute. Some, more than others, but overall you can’t really change that unless you’re either a REALLY BAD artist, or a REALLY GOOD artist. Either it’s mistake that your pony is ugly as dirt, or it’s intention.

I just like her ‘cause she’s cute, and I’ll be honest in saying that the SS uniforms were probably the most stylish military uniforms I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the Kommandant uniforms. If there’s one thing the nazis got right about their military, besides the soldiers being smarter about weapons and tactics than Hitler himself, it was their uniforms.
 
And it looks good on Aryanne. I don’t even associate the nazi ideology with her, purely because that’d be stupid. It’s like saying a blonde, white man cannot wear a nazi uniform without being called a nazi. It’s a blatant disregard for a person’s actual merit and knowledge, should you speak to them, in favor of skin color and attire.
 
And before anyone out there says, “You can’t be racist towards whitey,” let me stop you right there. Yes, you can, because I’m German Irish and I personally think less of you as an individual if you, even for a moment, think I actually adopt nazi values.
 
I do, however, entertain their ideas because it’s interesting to see that, if you took away the bullshit about hating others and, well, the fascism, they were actually quite prosperous. It’s like a wedding cake that took 10 days to properly make, only for the wedding to be cancelled because the would-be couple were arrested for armed robbery. It’s a great disappointment, because the cake could’ve been good, but was ruined by petty bullshit, like greed.

If I’m not mistaken, the basic idea of distributism is that people should have the means to make their own living without using the property of other people. So it’s kind of anti-city, more agrarian (rural values). I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some overlap with Luddism.

I personally don’t care for labels, I just want to know what the policies are, who they help, what the focus goal is, and most importantly the evidence that points toward the requirement of said policies. I’m centrist with a liberal lean, but I think what’s more important than telling people who you are is not lying to them.
