Kalianne, front and center:
My favorite character to draw, the one I picked for my Patreon contributer badge and one who I’m very glad I ultimately changed. Not just her appearance (Originally she was a garter snake not a Malaysian coral snake) but also her personality. I always had her characterized as nice and friendly, but originally I had her much more bestial and uncaring in how she acted. For example, this pic originally had her holding Twi to lick her and get her scent, and another was going to have the CMC having “captured” her and her, completely deadpan, asking GMHAA if she could bite them yet (He was saying no, but light tail slap was fine). This of course changed, I made her consistently a kind, gentle, loving marshmallow, which ultimately made me like her a lot more. I love the idea of a creature like her, one that has a ton of potential to be dangerous but just consciously chooses not to use it.

Tremble, front left:
Another favorite of mine to draw, (At the time I ultimately flipped a coin to decide between her and Kalianne for the badge). What I done with this character (And what makes me love her so much) is that I’ve done my best to make her, personality-wise, as totally normal of a character as possible while doing as crazy of stuff as possible with her body. She’s annoyed by tourists (who try to slay her), she has a part-time job modelling dresses (as the dress), meets friends for coffee (which she drinks while talking), and is also a total dork. She more or less stayed consistently the same, however in her first appearance she he had a core (which was integral to the pic, ironically enough) that she no longer has, purely because I forgot to keep drawing it :P

Cuddlhu, front right:
One of the earliest characters I ever made, and the first “true” OC ever (first to have a personality to go with her design), and one who I don’t give nearly enough love to, but mostly that’s because I made up a story that goes along with her, and admittedly I’m not so good at writing. Every time I come to make a picture for her, I end up wanting to make it the next one in her story, which means I need to sit down and write, which means here comes the writer’s block :P. What appeals to me about her more than anything else is I love characters that are evil in design, but sincerely good at heart. Now, I do have a lot of ideas for this character, her arc is not finished yet, and I’m planning on really playing around with having her struggle with how to be a pony.

Tatzljack, far left:
Tatzljack is not my creation, but she is now and always will be an “honorary” member of my menagerie. She was created by DTKraus, my most dearest of friends and the person responsible for luring me to this site to begin with (basically without him this gallery wouldn’t even exist). Long story short, I include Tatzljack as one of my own as a symbol of my friendship with Kraus, who right now is off somewhere very shitty doing some very good work. She’s also the character who I have four distinct “variants”, each based on other artists: This one is Kraus’s Tatljack, but there’s also Heir of Rick’s (Floofy huge ears), Keith’s (Big floofy tail), and mine (No hat, messy mane).

Quiddity, far right:
More than anything else this one appeals to me because I ended up loving her color scheme and design a lot more than I ever expected to. She’s also one who ended up becoming much nicer after I decided I liked her, going from what was basically a mindless predator to a not intently malicious creature that just has one hell of a weird set of quirks, hence her name which means “a distinctive feature; a peculiarity” (and what a peculiar destinctive feature she has :D). I also draw her in a different manner than other goo ponies, where I add extra blurred fill layers to make her look cloudy and murky rather than translucent.

Generic Messy Hair Anime Anon, center rear row:
Contrary to common belief this character is not a self insert or supposed to be me in any way. Believe me he’d need to have much darker skin and me much bigger to be me :P He was never meant to be anything more than an unremarkable human character to bounce this other weirdness off of, but it’s just so hard to actually do that and I ended up developing a personality for him regardless. He’s passive, gullible, and trusting / helpful to a fault. The kind of guy who’d fall for the “wallet inspector”, basically, but one at the same time who you’d probably regret screwing with if only because of his friends :P

Mave, GMHAA’s head:
This is a character I initially drew completely on a whim, as I wanted to do a spiritual successor to the Monster Mare Encyclopedia, then drew on rough times as a joke, and immediately fell in love with the character. Yeah she’s a parasite, yeah she has a gross way of life, but she’s just so vulnerable and pocket sized that I just want to scoop her up and pet her and never put her down <:D She also has, in my opinion, the best color scheme and design out of any character I’ve ever drawn. Literally everything about her design I love; there’s not one thing about her I wish I’d done differently or think I could do better, which is such a rare and lucky thing for me.

Hicky, Mave’s ear:
Yup, that’s a ponified bed bug. Why’d I draw her? I dunno. Why’d I include her? Because I thought it was funny to have that small of a character in the picture. Are bed bugs gross? I honestly thought they were the most disgusting bug on the planet until I made the mistake of making that claim to someone who knows stuff about bugs and he gleefully filled me in on numerous that are worlds worse. God damn it nature, and goddammit Kraus.

Trixiechidna, GMHAA’s shoulders:
This little thing’s basically here to represent all the weird explicit fetishy stuff I’ve done while still keeping the image safe-rated. I picked her baby version mostly due to cuteness, but also because that’s the only form that encountered a human (so far), and because I actually added her very late in the image (She’s not even in the original sketch) and I had nowhere to add the adult one (who, surprise surprise, is huge).

Candes, rear row left:
She’s not a pony, she’s a lamp. That’s shaped like a pony. And can walk, talk, think, cuddle, etc. Even though I’ve only drawn her a couple of times, I’ve always seen her as the poster character for all my object ponies since she was the one I feel started me on that entire trend. I also like the idea of creatures that are biological and mechanical: her body grows, ages, heals, feels, etc, like a living creature, but at the same time she is a lamp made of porcelain and glass.

Firginia / Groot, rear row right:
She was my second attempt at doing a satyr, as well as my most successful I feel. Anyone who follows my stuff will know I have quite a bit of trouble drawing humans, particularily in the face. I think she’s my best-ever work at drawing human features. There’s also her name, which I found to be really interesting. Here, she was dubbed Firginia and I rolled with it. Little did I know that the Satyr Abomination Threads on 4Chan had dubbed her Groot instead. So I decided both were her name, like a Minuette / Colgate kind of deal and left both names tagged, since I didn’t even want to pick one above the other for aliasing.

Mattie, rear row far left:
This was the first ever oc I ever made, and the second pony picture I ever made (not counting vectors lifted directly from screen shots to learn how to use the tool). I wasn’t even on this site at the time, instead using Ponychan. Kraus brought all my earliest pics here and ultimately coaxed me into coming to the site myself, so I absolutely had to put her in this picture. Her name is Mattie after Mattel, who makes Gak :D

Adrianna, rear row far right:
Yet another character who went from “shifty predator” to kindhearted and flirty with a weird kink when I realized I liked her design :D Also too, I love the idea of her being a little too much like a real life seahorse in terms of reproduction, and that her pony dates don’t realize this until it’s too late XD. Mostly too, it’s fun to respond to people saying “what the hell man” with “hey, blame Mother Nature” XD
