You could always make it a really tight story like Anywhere Butt Here.
You do not have to go balls-deep-oh-my-god-so-much-worldbuilding ala Somber, Kkat and such.
I mean look at Fuzzy´s Murky Number Seven. Most of that story is set in Fillydelphia and so far it seems that its mostly about what is happening currently than big-ass “I showed this chair in chapter 1, now the character uses it to save the world in chapter 70”

Tempting, but I’ve always been more of the “Post ideas for others to flesh out” kind of person
I’ve never really mastered the “Connect point A to point B” aspect of writing, unfortunately
Short, self-contained stories? Sure; I can do those
Anything else, such as a full-fledged FoE story? Ehh…

There was a thread on SpaceBattles that covered basically what I summarized with a few extra characters (Namely Pipsqueak and a Pegasus Clone of Twilight Sparkle who would eventually become the new Overmare of the Stable and make it hospitable again)
After that, it kinda died off and I haven’t bothered to resurrect it
Althought Discord was already mentioned in the original FO:E, as a little spirit almost without power.
While i was re-reading that on the original, i got an idea to make my own fic on the FO:E universe. I still have not written anything, but i’m writing my notes down for it.
I will call it “Little Chaotic Blues” or maybe “Little Chaotic Swing” but that one doesn’t have the same ring to it.
It follows an android made in a far-away land. It was made by twilight’s lover (Thats sunset), and was made to learn and keep information after she died (That is because she knew tensions would become greater and greater before exploding, and she accepted it). He is 200 years old and he knows this, but its memory memory was wiped before the start. He still knows his objective tho. When he goes out of the vault he “awoke” in, he notices that he got a cutie mark. Is a Draconequs, it guides him throu places and constantly tells him to do stuff. Fun, chaotic stuff.
I would like to write him as something different. Because most protagonists on the FO:E fics are heroes (or in Murky’s case, a classical anti-hero), i want to make an anti-villain, a chaotic good character. A character that messes more than he fixes, so he can create more and more chaos, for discord to become more powerful.
Fallout Equestria is a decent read. The problem is that people won’t let it go along with Past Sins. There’s a hundred thousand stories on FIMfiction, people seriously can’t find anything else to read and like and make spinoffs of and fanart of? Even 5 Score / 4 eventually died down in popularity

“Fallout Equestria: Cloning Blues”
The premise is after Littlepip destroyed Maripony, it sent a signal to yet another hidden Stable built under Starlight Glimmer’s town.
Inside, they were experimenting with clones, just in case someone important died.
The ones that are woken up are Time Turner, Cadence, Maud Pie, Bon Bon and a blank Unicorn whose body becomes the host for the consciousness of Discord. Except there’s a few problems: Time Turner is a mare, Cadence is a pegasus, Maud is a zebra whose stripes are the same color as her coat, Bon Bon is blue and green for some reason and Discord is missing his powers.
The Stable is a mix of Vaults 87 and 108 with the Gary Clones being replaced by Party Favor clones who can only say “Welcome!”
Glimmer was the Overmare who eventually committed suicide to escape the hell the Stable had become. Her mind was then uploaded to a Proto-Alicorn whose goal is to safeguard the Cutie Mark Vault that held most of the clones’ memories within the Mark itself through magic.

I just do not like to see pointless hate to the story cause I actually realize the amount of time, preparation and love it took to write it. Also, been kinda dry on post-apo horses with guns. What is your story if I may ask?

Even with its many, many, many flaws, it’s still a good piece of fiction
I just choose not to view it as canon to the original Fallout Equestria for the sake of my sanity when writing FoE fics of my own
