Literally, for the first time in my life, this episode made me want Spike to succeed. I think him as dragon king is much more suiting than a stupid assistant constantly making jokes and not understanding what’s going on.
I don’t keep up with the comics but aren’t they non Canon? Like I said before I believe Twilight did raise Spike though she was obviously supervised by Celestia.
That’s why Spike has a better connection to Twilight more than anyone else.
@LadyTheRainicorn
So you ok with a child raising a baby? Cause rember ponies never saw a baby dragon before and it would make a hell of a lot of sence for Celestia to raise Spike before giving her to Twilight. Hell the comics did it
My Headcanon is that Spike is Celestias adopted son so he is already a prince. But this is nice too. Besides he is already the Dragon lord, he just let her have his staff. I hope this comes up later in the series BTW. Spike needs to go back to stop a usurper.
>all this headcanon
Spike isn’t in any way a prince. Celestia isn’t his mom and he gave away his power as a dragon lord along with his title. And Ember had as much right to rule because she didn’t made it first just because she preffered to help Spike and fight Garble instead getting a scepter. She’s isn’t “a princess because of Spike”.
