Fortunately no she disabled the barrier and security systems once she was in control so they can come and go as they please and it’s good they can talk but they can’t physically touch each other and given previous chapters that must be hard for them.

Still, it means she can, thankfully, meet her friends and does not have to be hooked up 24/7. I mean, she probably does not have much time to do so, considering she controls the weather of entire country, but at least she is not alone, only seeing her friends from the monitors. Just kinda wonder. Homage has to go through the same process Pippy did, right? She has to be literally burned alive every time she goes there, huh?

No she talks to Homage and her friends through the moniter in the weather station which she opened up once she was in control her body is in a permanent state of comatose she’s locked in there till she dies you’ll notice in the story pip uses the cameras to watch homage from the other weather stations and that it’s the closest they have to being together, besides if it was the case that she could just get up and leave and someone else could handle it then it wouldn’t be a sacrafice since she doesn’t lose anything. Somber didn’t write the original so I’m not sure what he has to do with any of this.

Actually, I thought kkat has said, that Pippy can leave SPP. I mean, she does meet with Homage every now and then. I thought she supposedly stays in the SPP as her own punishment for what she did. O.O I mean, even Somber implies this in his ending of the story.

When I was seeing if I could get into it, I found a TCB story that tried to escape the genre’s tropes: story was about a normal Celestia opening a portal to a human world where a parallel universe tyrant Celestia was just defeated, along with the converter shield or whatever. It was great until the story started to focus on a thousand human characters at ounce. Had to get out a notepad to keep up with the names. Had to give up on it when ponies seemed to almost become irrelevant.

Well the story implies she sacraficed herself by doing it and that could be what happens and she becomes like celestia either way she’ll never come out of that machine or be able to spend time with her friends or lover other than talking through a moniter till they all die, that ending was brilliant what with the sacrafice thing being her element and it being a reference to fallout 3 ending but damn did it hit me hard I wanted her to have a happy ending so badly she deserved it the fact the ending made me feel like that but still give some closure like her friends are alive and the wasteland is becoming a paradise once again is just really well done very bittersweet.

That depends on author (and if open to interpretation, yours)’s viewpoint on life and the topic in general. Mine is that the only everlasting thing is changes, so it’s impossible to be cursed literally “forever” without end (unless the curse is actively maintained). Even if she is cursed, she will find salvation someday.

Actually, now that I think about it, you are probably correct. So yeah, even Pippy will probably die at some point. Question is whether her soul is cursed by using the necromantic magic.

Pretty sure that all TCB stories have OOC ponies. Either way, you’re definitely not going to like Spectrumverse, because it’s chock full of violence, graphic descriptions of such, and reality of war described in detail.

Honestly, if it ended in any way different, it would feel forced at this point. There are few things about the ending that I would personally change, but those are fairly minor.

Wow not gonna lie I’m glad I didn’t finish that story cause that right there sounds awful you need to leave the audience with some kind of satisfaction even if it’s small that just sounds depressing all around for everyone.

Don’t worry about spoiling it, I dislike with a fiery passion anything that has to do with TCB. Every story I’ve tried in that fandom is full of tyrant Celestia (one of the tropes I hate the most), OOC ponies, human supremacy wankery and plots that go nowhere. Also the prevalence of gore and over the top violence really isn’t my cup of tea.

BJ basically gets the same eternal life Legate got. In a proper ironic fashion. Also, most of her friends died and in a way, its her fault. She is basically living with eternally, sneakily, looking after her grand-grand-grand-grand-grand {explodes} children and making Pippy´s life less shitty. She will most probably see life itself end on the planet and, if I get it right, the gates of Everafter, where P-21 and Glory are now, are closed to her forever.

Like, nobody else, in any FoE story I have read, comes even close in that regard.

What is the worst curse of them all? Not dying, forever, with the guilt of all her crimes. Otherwise the worst fates are Rarity (went through torture-redefining process 40 times, then got fused to the window in Canterlot while doing her last generous-as-fuck act of teleporting Fluttershy to safety - adding to the latter’s PTSD) and Twilight (became an abomination, unknown if still conscious - might be similar fate to that of TCB: The Other Side of the Spectrum’s Xeno!Twilight, also hello you’ve got spoiled on an unrelated fanfic!).

A good structure is extremely important for the enjoyability of a story. While it is possible to make a good story while breaking the conventional structure, there needs to be a good reason for it. FoE is a good story in spite of its flaws, not because of them. Pink Eyes is a more cohesive and better paced story than FoE ever managed to be. Puppysmiles herself isn’t the big draw, but all the characters she influences throughout her quest.

I never expected a Fallout Equestria reference from this. Its just so… perfect. {cries}
