From the 1992 live album by the Australian Hard rock/Alternative rock band, entitled “Scream In Blue”. This album by the famously environmentally conscious band from Sydney was recorded over a span of nine years, from 1982 to 1992.

*Though most of the songs were recorded at venues throughout Australia, this one was recorded at a 1992 event protesting against the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill
**The one track on the album that actually wasn’t recorded live, but recorded acoustic style at Albert Studios in Sydney

From the legendary British Hard rock/Heavy metal/Just-good-old-Rock-and-Roll band’s 2003 (recorded in 2000) live album “25 & Live: Live at the Brixton Academy*”. This was disc 2 of a 2-disc CD edition of the album that I bought (I posted my picks from disc 1 on the previous page). It was a fucking ace performance, full to bursting with the frantic power in their sound that they were known for!
Though they did disband after Lemmy’s death, long live the sound of the mighty band! And to quote the late Lemmy: Rock and Roll don’t mean a thing if it don’t make you strut!

Three Days Grace - Get Out Alive

Spencer Davis Group - Catch You On The Rebound, Today Gluggo Tomorrow The World, Mr. Operator, The Screw and Touching Cloth

From the sixth album by the British R&B/Rock group, “Gluggo” (1973)

Gluggo, originally a slang term for beer made up by one of the band’s members, was envisioned for this album’s art concept as a sort of aphrodisiac/miracle cure tonic. As such, the album art is in the style of a cheesy 60s/70s-style pharmaceutical advertisment, complete with the slogan “It’s got to be great to be Gluggo”.

This album moved away from the band’s usual R&B style into a more Hard rock/Glam rock style. Despite the fact that the brothers Steve (later of Traffic) and Muff Windwood (later a music producer) had departed the group six years prior, they managed to hold together quite well for a while, and this album is quite entertaining!
