Paul & Linda McCartney - Too Many People, 3 Legs, Dear Boy, Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey, Smile Away and The Back Seat Of My Car
From βRamβ (1971), the only album credited specifically to the British-American husband and wife duo of ex-Beatle and universally acclaimed singer/songwriter Paul McCartney with his first wife Linda. Initially panned by critics and notorious for a couple of songs aimed as digs at his ex-Beatle bandmate John Lennon* during a tumultous time in their friendship, it is now considered an masterpiece and a blueprint for what would later be known as βIndie rockβ, as apart from the aforementioned two songs, it is lots of fun, humorous and charming with its homegrown style and βMaccaββs undeniable musicianship (The late βLovely Lindaβ wasnβt too shabby on vocals herself)
This was all on Disc 1 of a CD reissue of the album that I picked up.
