To the Artist: When I saw your picture on Ponies of Color, I loved the idea of Bon Bon having a hijab. I liked the picture and thank you for helping me make my headcanons for MLP more diverse.

Artist here; the reason why I have these headcannons isn’t very big, the idea just kinda came to me and I decided to draw it. It’s the same reason why some people draw Fluttershy with big boobs or make Rarity extra curvy, they have their own headcannon. And I like having lots of diversity in my humanizations, is that bad?
 
And I know the art sucks, but I’m getting better ;)

There’s nothing in fanon that really suggests Bon-Bon would be Muslim… And I get that Lyra’s famous for sitting, but she’s also famous for being the really hyperactive pony who’s always bouncing up and down in the back of crowds.
 
I guess your fanon can be whatever you want, but I have to agree that this just seems to be politically correct for the sake of being politically correct.

Why is human!Lyra in a wheelchair if Lyra isn’t? This just smacks of forced diversity.
