That’s the thing; they usually start out with five members, then get more later. And certain teams start out with only 3 and only get up TO 5 members total.

It’s hard to tell if the perspective is skewing the size difference much. Twilight looks about right in comparison to Mac.
Technically only his desire to be an alicorn became canon. He only transformed in his dream.

Ever heard of foreshortening? Big Mac probably only looks slightly larger in that he’s standing well in front of eveypony else.
Yeah, and a White one too… Neither one actually being in the Team(s). IIRC they were first off enemies, and then latter Freelancers who ended up working with the Rangers. Besides I think its kinda telling that most of the Super Robots only have the Red Leader Trunk (Zoid?), plus four appendage Zoids. Again 4+1=5 NOT 6!
