The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Cook’s main weakness is planning out arcs that fit the issue span - pacing, for better or worse. For some reason, though, her Princess Luna and Spike have been consistently well-written with their dialogue.

Exactly! Luna totally has a much less serious side when she doesn’t have to stand on ceremony. It’s mostly that the show really doesn’t present a lot of opportunities to demonstrate it.

Y’know, I kinda like it to, I hate to admit it… Besides she actually did have a few brief “silly” moments in the show to.

Though, I think some prefer Celestia being the “annoying/cheerful” one instead, and Luna being the comically-serious one, sense that was more common in fanon.

I fucking love Katie Cook’s Luna. On the show she never really gets to show up outside of Matters of Grave Importance, so we never get to see her when she’s not in super-serious crisis/dreamwalker mentor mode. I like the idea that underneath all the pomp she can be a bit of a goofball when no one else is looking.
