Dia de los Muertos piece I made making use of some recycled EaW assets and minimal painting knowledge. I’m not entirely happy with how it turned out. The plumes in the center were meant to be more ornate and spring forth from an additional element, but I was unable to really refine the idea in my head. Special thanks to Ryan for the roses!

Well, we Mexicans don’t say “día de los muertos”, but “día de muertos”. It is not just a celebration of those departed, but it also a celebration of life. And of course a party, first because we believe it is disrespectful to get sad every time we think of our dear departed, and secondly because YOLO.
