Yeah, I meant to say “inside the last six month”; I know it was still a thing last June. At least the Tumblr’s still up, and most things are still on various online archives.
 
I do hope she returns. If not as an artist, it’s still nice to see people from “back in the day” enjoying the show, or just interacting with other artists and people they met along the way. Sudden vanishments and cutting off all ties (at least publicly) are a bummer.

She just lost interest, really. She said she’d check out S4, but I don’t think she’ll “return to the fandom”, per se. I could very well be wrong, though, so don’t hold me to that.
 
And the trolls/idiots didn’t really affect her that badly, it was mainly the loss of interest in all things pony that made her go. To my knowledge, anyway.
 
Also the DA deactivation was rather recent, within the past month, to month and a half, which was a big shame. I won’t even pretend to know why she did that.

Not really. She mentioned personal issues once or twice, then She just kind of vanished before S3 started. Think she still posted a comment or two on DA, but then she closed the account half a year ago or so.
 
As for what RIG said, yes, she wanted to keep a split between SFW and NSFW art (as do many artists) and a lot of people gave her flak for it. Some for “oh no you’re a pervert how could you”, some for “why hide it you spinless coward”. Essentially, dicks being dicks, as usual. I would not be able to say if that influenced her at all, though.
 
Hopefully she’ll return one day; she did a lot of really cute art and seemed like a swell person.
