Tracing is fine as a tool for learning and **that is where it ends**.
Tracing someone's work and posting it, claiming it as your own and not crediting the original creator(s) is the issue.
It's even worse when money is involved, because its lazy and unethical, and oftentimes equivalent to a scam for those paying for it without knowing the product they're gonna get is just going to be a cheap knockoff trace of existing works by other artists.
It has nothing to do with people being "thin skinned", it's a matter of ethics and stealing and potentially profiting off someone elses hard work and copyright/intellectual property. it's widely known in the community to be a very scumbag thing to do, hence why people get called out for it so often.
I understand that as a coomer consumer, you don't give a shit about stuff that, doesn't make it ok though.
