I had the same issue, but to be honest, I kinda like the collars her, regardless of the FoE out of context memories.

Every time I see a red collar (and collars in general to a lesser extent) I expect to see the Fall of Equestria logo somewhere on the picture. It’s kind of ruined them for me in a way which sucks.
