I mean as a main character it’s a normal side effect that since we spend the most time with her and she’s the one having problems she seems morally inferior to her friends, if that makes sense, and pays for that with things like not countered haymaker and such but it depends on the point of view characters of the fic. It’s nothing but a small thing that I noticed one time.

Well Dash is also a bit crappy in that version and gets treated accordingly.

Actually this scene was more of a “come back together” scene. Something bad happens, but everything ends alright and they embrace. They are both crying because they were scared something bad could’ve happened to the other.
So a little sad, but they are hugging because they were worried about each other, not because something bad happened. ;)

it’s a very long story… xD literally. But i guess i can explain it a little. Soarin gets… more or less just short of being killed, Celestia uses a forbidden necromancy to save him, Soarin is forced to live with a dark magic within him because of it. It gets to a point where the magic will consume him if he doesn’t learn to control it, so he is given an ancient relic by Luna, a false horn that is usually used by non unicorns who show signs of having magic within them. Soarin is given the horn so he can learn to use the dark magic and prevent it from destroying him from inside out.
Thats the short version… and only Soarin’s half of the story. A lot of stuff happens with Dash two, including her eventually trying out for the Wonderbolts. I’ve created original personalities for all the background wonderbolts as well, i’ve been having a lot of fun with it.
it’s quite a long piece i’ve put quite a lot of effort into :) And several artists, like Chiweee here have pitched in to help me. It’s been quite a fun ride.
the fan fic is almost 300k in length and if you include the other prequel fics its like about 450k…. so no easy explanation can be made….
Why is Soarin wearing a horn? Why are they crying! I haven’t planned to read any fanfics sp please tell me what is going on!
