Basically what I mean is that just because they made the loving doesn’t mean they can’t understand or appreciate the hurtful, because Derpibooru has a very knee jerked reaaction to the hurtful and think its for fetish, while it’s original purpose clearly isn’t.

Well, for one thing, the person who did the abuse Luna (who for some reason people claim was the first despite the firsts being those copied from the Anime version with AJ and flutters) ALSO did both the “abuse” AND the “loving” of Derpy, the one that EqD posted in front.
 
Thing is, EqD tries to twist it to stay PG and because “professionalism” but it started as one guy wanting an AJ version of anime “hurtful” picture, people obliged, then after a while felt bad about their waifu and started doing the loving. HOWEVER those people still want to do the hurtful, not because they want to, but because “hurtful” makes you want to help even MORE the waifu than loving. And I can agree with that.

Incorrect, person of unspecified gender! The primary artist behind the loving variant has been Jessy, the hurtful ones appear to be a mishmash of different people, but not Jessy as far as I can see.
