I apologize too if you feel what I said to you was said too strongly.
Smoking as a practice is a disgusting waste of money and life but as you stated This picture represents an ideal that implies social behavior that is more alienated in our society but can still be viewed in other ways as to elude the conclusions you or I have produced and it is certain that the artist has no intention to depict anything offensive in this and so such petty conflict should not be arisen by this image.

I dislike smokers because they anoy me. Its not so much a morale thing. Their freedom ends, were that of others begins.
Smoking stinks places up more thoroughly and with more actual harm to bystanders than the rudest fart in an enclosed public space ever could.
I also admitt that in my opinion the main pupose of the rules of high society that Rarity adheres to, is the social exclusion of a large group of people (for the wrong reasons). Romanticising that could be detrimental.
The picture itself is good and the cigarette-tip fits the style. The way the show and Rarity in this picture interpretes these motifs does indeed leave out most of the problematic parts, but in reality they are there.
It’s a magic cigarette,no toxins or addiction another accessory of image. Happy now you oh so great and morale SjW, you can stop ruining things for everyone else now with your grand ideas about society and “modernization” besides it’s not like anyone will actually be stupid to smoke because of this. Probably.
