Is this what we’ve come to? Having to figure out what’s real or fake among leaks? And not knowing if this is the real life?…

Dang, I was hoping someone would reply with a screencap of one of Transformers Energon’s infamous misspelled episode titles as a snarky way of saying, “Yes. Yes they would”…
 
As for Merriweather… am I one of the few people who doesn’t actively hate her episodes? The only one I don’t particularly care for was Mare-Do-Well, and even that one’s just kind of “meh” in my opinion. Plus, she wrote “Wonderbolts Academy,” one of season 3’s best episodes. She also wrote “Spike at Your Service,” which while I understand the hate directed at it, I rather enjoyed.

But they are building on the high likelihood there is an episode “Rarity Takes Manehatten”. Hopefully NOT written by Merriweather.

It’s already been proven that it’s not. Though really, the blatantly misspelled name of the “writer” should’ve been a dead giveaway. There’s no WAY Hasbro would let a spelling error in the title or writer of an episode make it to the final product…

“Rarity Takes Manehatten” is likely a real episode - it was a title leaked by an Amazon product, and given what Meghan said about Manehatten BG ponies, it’s going to happen.
 
But whether this is a legit shot from it, that’s in question.

Just thought I’d point out that the fandom is terrible at determining what’s fake and what’s not. :P

I don’t even care that this is a fake one; the idea is too beautiful for me to hate.

Damn it, I would love to see an episode of this.

Sounds like a cool name and idea. Too bad it’s fake.
