Fail! Discord planted tentacle seeds that would attack the tree and anything nearby. Did you even pay attention to that episode?

FAIL!! The forest hasn’t changed at all, and she still has a lot of work to do, as it’s far from peaceful. Not to mention that those seeds were only in Ponyville. [Insert trollface here]

And no, the plunder seeds where put in place by Discord when Celestia and Luna faced him, before that they went into Everfree to get the elements, so they are not part of the forest.

Well then it’s still wrong as this was saying the Tree of of Harmony and the Everfree Forest are one thing.  
So my point still stands, forbidden_nectar was wrong about this being “almost 100% correct” is far off.

Are you sure about that? The Tree of Harmony isn’t the Everfree Forest, it’s what is keeping it at bay. If anything, the plunder seeds are the responsibility for the Everfree Forest.

It turned out to not be the harmony tree at all, it was from the seeds Discord had but the tree was keeping them from doing anything untill it ran out of power, Twi didn’t defeat the tree she saved it.

It’s funny how people were snarkily laughing at this theory without the least consideration just because it reminded of Naruto, as seen below. And now that this theory almost came right, what do they do? Instead of congratulating the one who thought it up and came so very close to the truth, they reply snarkily yet again. That’s the mature people of derpibooru for you…
 
Anyway. I’m quite glad the story worked out like that. And the twist at the end made it even more clever.
