Apparently there’s no clear word on G5 as a whole, but by all accounts MYM’s ended and they aren’t making any more.
If we can call the little nonsense we get in tyt on youtube in shorts length episodes evidence enough, because yes MYM has not gotten any update/announcement since last season, then yes g5 looks like they put it in a state of “something we run on the side so whatever”

After cancelling MYM, and also apparently continuing to copystrike g4 fan content 3 years after its end? Nah. They can do whatever they want more than what’s needed.
Other than the Diamond Tiara one, I haven’t heard of the things about Twist and Babs Seed. Is there source? And I mean, why do the writers have to suck it up because Hasbro says so? I thought Hasbro wanted people to like the show.
Hasbro declared Diamond’s story finished and the writers just had to deal with it. Twist’s voice actress had moved away, if I recall. As for Babs, her voice actress wasn’t available enough to make additional material with her. I don’t recall the details.
Fillies that get Cutie Mark before the CMCs are punished by being forgotten. Twist, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
