I just hope she does not take Twilight’s Mane Character statues in Se4 and Twi is reduced to a supporting role.
 
Like in the movie when she puts on the Element of Harmony Crown since she did it in the “other world” the crown now registers her as its bearer. So when we return to Equestria she has to discover the Magic of Friendship in-order to use the Elements power or some crap like that.

I bet people will complain that if it turns out Sunset Shimmers was not a “old” student of Celestia but was being taught at the same time as Twilight, people will be saying “TWILIGHT WAS CELESTIA’S ONLY STUDENT AT THAT TIME. GOD THE SHOW IS NOW REALLY RUINED FOREVER!!”.
 
Then of course I will have to mention that Celestia never said that Twilight was her only student, but that she was her “Most Faithful Student” and that she saw more potential in her then any of her other sudents.

I’m sure she’s not going to be the antagonist/the pony who stole the crown.

Well depending on how much we see of the thief when the crown is stolen (if we don’t see there mane, tail, head shape, and cutie mark) then in my mind there is room for doubt.
