And the amulet of power has a will of its own. It betrayed Luna, to her banishment. And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth. And for two and a half thousand years, the amulet passed out of all knowledge. Until, when chance came, the amulet ensnared a new bearer. The amulet came to the creature Discord, who took it deep into the tunnels under the mountains of Canterlot, and there it consumed him. The ring gave to Discord unnatural long life and new godly powers. For five hundred years it poisoned his mind; and in the gloom of Discord’s cave, it waited. Darkness crept back into the forests of the world. Rumor grew of a shadow in the East, whispers of a nameless fear, and the Amulet of Power perceived. Its time had now come. It abandoned Discord. But then something happened that the Amulet did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable. A Pony, The Shopkeeper, of Saddle Arabia. For the time will soon come when ponies will shape the fortunes of all…

A last alliance of Earth, Pegasi & Unicorn ponies marched against the armies of Mordor and on the slopes of Mount Doom, they fought for the freedom of Middle Equestria. Cue Battle Victory was near but the power of the amulet could not be undone. Cue Sombra owning a bunch of ponies and killing Celestia’s & Luna’s fathers It was at this point, when all hope have failed, that Celestia & Luna took up their fathers swords. Cue Sombra stepping on both their swords and reaching at both of them before getting his hoofs cut off by the broken swords and exploding Sombra, the enemy of the free ponies of Middle Equestria, was defeated. The amulet passed to Luna who had this one chance of destroying the amulet. But the heart of herself is easily corrupted.

I think I know how my own products work.

It began with the forging of the Great Amulets.  
Three were given to the Unicorns; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.  
Seven, to the Earth Ponies, great miners and craftsponies of the mountain halls.  
And nine, nine amulets were gifted to the race of Pegasi, who above all else desire power.  
For within these amulets was bound the strength and the will to govern over each other.
 
But they were all of them deceived, for a new amulet was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sombra forged in secret, a master amulet, to control all others. And into this amulet he poured all his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One amulet to rule them all. One by one, the free ponies of Middle Equestira fell to the power of the Amulet.
