Next-Gen update has been in the works for a while, Bethesda wanted release it to match with the tv show airing, it’s just unfortunate timing that the London mod was supposed to be releasing around that time as well

It’s just bad timing. Come on man.

There’s something wholesome about playing Team Fortress 2 as Medic and people being unusually grateful to you even if you probably blundered a couple of times.

Playing healing classes in shooters is such a different experience than healers in other games.

When I’d heal in WoW, I always felt like the moment I fucked up everything would suddenly be my fault.

When I played a medic in Planetside, everyone treated me like a shining golden angel from on-high, come down to save their pathetic asses for the glory of Space ’Merika.

Helps that shooters like TF2 are mostly light-hearted so a few mistakes shouldn’t ruin the game, unlike in a raid.

Planetside has the added benefit of most battles having hundreds of people involved. So the mistakes of a few don’t really matter.

Unless your idiot pilot flies the dropship straight into AA fire…

Playing TF2 and Final Fantasy VI taught me healers in a party is no laughing matter.

Is odd but in a way they can choose who lives and who dies.

In my WoW days, during Wrath specifically, I used to fuck with our main healer.

I’d misdirect to random DPS, deliberately stand in damaging effects, and just do stuff to cause chaos.

All in good fun, we weren’t a super serious raid guild. She got me back a few times.

“Remember to let Gold die” was a running joke in our guild (my hunter is named Goldenax).

Hehe, in fact healers should be the main leaders under the logic healers are the ones who must bail first and can help or screw their own team the most.

Bethesda has announced Fallout 5, and that they plan on getting it out before 2030.
