For a long time I had a headcannon about other pony countries in the pony world, different regimes and been imagining, in some roleplays and greentext stories - especially on ponychan/mlpchan, and came up with a radical, socialist dystopia led by gloomy ponies and technocrats. No grass, only concrete everywhere and factories that sustain the politic of mass production and denaturization of ponies.
A dystopian superpower pretty much inspired by Orwell’s 1984 and other writers’s essays, where ponies live in an egalitarian, brainwashed consumerist society, where magic is illegal, and its supreme leader preaches for a new world order, and conquer Equestria.
So later I came up with a complete story, around 2015 and decided to adapt it in a non-greentext format. It’s kind of a fanart, that includes Nyx from Past Sins, Diamond Tiara, references to to other ponies like Aryanne. A military operation manages to get Nyx kidnapped as the Mane Six are busy. I even had to change from the golden Oak Library into something more recent as I edited it, that’s saying.
I kind of felt like going with DiamondTiara for her personality and being cute, and here she’s gonna have to remain herself, and resist the psychological torture and indoctrination, never forget who she is despite being a subject for an experiment from the government of Industria.
I must say it’s my first attempt at writing a complete story in English, I wonder if I’m good at it. If not , well I can still draw. ( Thought about turning this into a comic, but I need a life! )
