I try my hardest to be a friend to all animals.
It wasn’t a venomous snake, so it was perfectly safe to handle, but even if it
had been I would’ve still tried to save it. You just have to wear good gloves (leather welding gloves are a good choice) and a thick jacket to prevent biting, that’s all =3 . Just grab behind the head and take the big boy back into the woods.
Hehe, no, he wasn’t very floofy. Just a big ol’ black snake; pretty common around here in Indiana. Large and scary to people who are afraid of snakes, but relatively harmless otherwise. He was just a big boy trying to find somewhere warm to hide while waiting for the weather to heat up more.
