How to make it to where either I or artist can post certain images?

I’d like to post a tumblr comic on behalf of an artist (with consent) but I wanna do it in the same organized way the blog did with links to previous or next entries. What do I do to make sure no other member or Background Pony uploads it before I can properly post it properly with links?

The artist will need to have an account with a verified user link on this site, and then submit a “with permission only” DNP request, noting that you have permission to upload the comic.
 
The request has to come from the artist though - we can’t just you’re the only one allowed to post the comic because you asked.
