It might be referencing Castlevania but Alraune is an actual mythology thing, a tiny humanoid living in mandrake roots.

We discussed gynoid before. Like mare, stallion, etc, it’s more of a sex designation. android scraped through because a lot of people don’t realize android is male-specific and use it in the same way cow tends to mean any cattle.
