Snipping tool should be aliased to cropped

All of the images with the tag are just cropped. Yes, I checked

Rather just alias it as it’s pointless to exist.

Yeah, should be relatively safe to alias. Looking through the tag, I didn’t see any pictures featuring the actual snipping tool.

Yeah, I didn’t mention that because I didn’t want to single them out…

Late to the party, but I feel the need to point out that the snipping tool is actually the name of Window’s screenshot tool. The snipping tool tag was, by extension, used as a synonym for the screencap tag. As a result, a lot of images under the snipping tool tag were not cropped, and ended up mistagged by the merge.
 
I just finished doing cleanup, but given that Megazord is still uploading images, cropped and non, with snipping tool, and snipping tool is getting automatically aliased into cropped, I felt I should point this out.

Truthfully, there’s no reason for the tag to exist at all…

I agree, but my point was that it should be aliased into screencap rather than cropped because, as it is, aliasing it into cropped has demonstrably resulted in a lot of mistagging.
