In the early days, no voting happened, or was necessary. Sometimes a good name for a character can just… be, without a vote happening.

Hey, should we alias Gina into Clementine, or have them imply one another? The latter was a sorta official name by G.M. Berrow as shown here.

It’s an alias. If she was actually named Clementine in the show credits then the fanon name would be secondary.

On the topic of background ponies, can anyone provide a compelling reason for why lavender bloom shouldn’t be nuked or aliased into daisy / flower wishes?
 
Also, is registration pony really the best option for a blue tag for a background pony who already has two?

Blue lily was named by a single person apparently, but it’s a character that will probably never be seen again so I guess I don’t care that much.
 
Lavender Bloom actually has different hair from Daisy. Personally I’d probably merge them but they have separate toys and slightly different show models, and are seen in different cities.
 
Rosetta is the name the wiki uses for rosebud, merged all three into that since there was only 3 or 4 fanarts, all quite old.

I’d suggest an alias actually, Rainberry being the main tag with Blue Ribbon (character) being aliased into it.

Oh, yes, now I remember that she got already named “Rainberry”. I forgot about this temporarily. And this picture didn’t have her name tag, so I thought it’s “Blue Ribbon”.  
Now I need to correct that in my episode review for “The Point of No Return”.
