So I’ve got a question for tagging. I’ve seen this thing on several images, and I’ve wondered how to proceed.

The tagging rules state that if an outline of genitalia is visible through clothing, then it’s Questionable. In the case where an obvious cameltoe exists, this is clear. However in this image, the “classic” cameltoe isn’t visible but the downward curve next to the edge of the underwear is obviously the side of the labia.

I’ve seen a few images like this that are tagged Suggestive. Should I go ahead and tag them Questionable? To me, that’s clearly Questionable under the rules, I’m just concerned some users might try to drop them back down to Suggestive. I’ve already seen people mistake outright cameltoes for Suggestive.

Honestly I would make that questionable, and also grimdark, for far greater reasons then simply a slight outline of genitalia. Not only because she is in her underwear with no other clothes, but because it appears someone is wanting some “fun” as she sleeps, a bit of an outline is the least of the image’s concerns.

Well, my question was about that particular thing and not the context of the image, which I used as an example only because it’s the last image I’ve encountered like this. I’ve had to retag a few images where people thought cameltoes were only Suggestive, and at least once someone came behind me and lowered the rating again. I tend to drop notes in the comments now when I raise the rating for that, maybe it’ll also help make that rule more well-known. I was just wondering if I should apply that same rule to an image with any amount of visibility, as I am inclined to. Didn’t want to tag them that way and possibly get into a future disagreement with a user, without having an official word on the matter.

Personally I think that it was not distinct enough to mark. Generally no matter the clothing, unless very loose fitting, would have some outlining of such things. As such, being too stringent could actually cause otherwise harmless images to be filtered when I feel they shouldn’t. A noticeable cameltoe would be questionable over suggestive, though I have seen other see such where I felt it wasn’t clearly such.

In real life, sure. But there are plenty of images with clothes ranging from loose to super-tight that doesn’t depict anything. So I’m going by the rule which states if it’s visible. I don’t think it’s too stringent, as it’s simply the rule being applied to images which it’s applicable to.
