Alias “ditzy doo” to “derpy hooves”

So many years is passed. I surprised it’s still don’t aliased

Apparently there is another character who was adept recolor named that. Though im pretty sure at oke point they did imply each other.

I thought that was just standard copypasta background pony recolors. Unless I’m mistaken?

It’s only used for one pony, the purple haired Derpy from Winter Wrap Up.

Honestly I think it would be prudent to use a different tag for that specific derpy if we are to have one. It’s only tagged on a handful of posts, and it wouldn’t surprise me if just as many were tagged derpy hooves.

Eh, I don’t really agree, she also has a few other fan names (Flutter Hooves, Kiki and one another one that’s I’m forgetting).

If it’s a different character it should be tagged as one of those. I’m kind of indifferent to what happens with it since it affects so few posts. However ditsy doo is definitely searched and tagged still and is overwhelmingly used as an alternate name for derpy, so that should really take precedent.

I think we might have mixed signals on this, I’m not saying the ailas shouldn’t happen, I’m all fine with Ditzy being ailed into Derpy, what I mean is the purple haired one should at least get a name (like Flutter Hooves or something) so she could stand out a little.

I’ve come to know her as Flutter Doo, and I think she’s tagged with this name here.
 
That said, I don’t like the idea of aliasing “old” fan names out of sight, out of mind, just because they’re old and/or nobody™ uses them anymore.

I prefer it when people can find all art of something all under one tag. Splitting it or leaving it split just makes searching/filtering harder.

Well, there’s still bidirectional implying (as done for example with Carrot Top and Golden Harvest) so that both tags remain visible.
 
In Ditzy Doo’s case, however, there’s no consensus about whom this name exactly applies to (Derpy Hooves vs. Flutter Doo).
