OOC: Essentially, life had taken over me in the past 10 months. Having to deal with sick parents, a job, business trips, a wedding and starting a relationship of my own with someone.

I’ve kind of, uhhh, fallen out of roleplaying. I’m not that good at storytelling, so it feels weird and awkward.

Several months passed since the last person teleported to Equestria. Matias Andersson got himself a job at a local restaurant due to experience he obtained back on Earth. Apart from a few assholes he encountered, the little life he’s made has been going smoothly…
 
Me: Shows up with a dish “Here you are, good ma’am. Hope you enjoy”
 
I walk off to go get another customer their meal. After several hours of serving customers, sunset came when my shift was officially done. I grab my things and headed out of the building
 
Me: “Another day, another Krona…heh…Krona…”
 
I stopped in my tracks for a minute and looked to the sunset
 
Me: Sigh “I do miss home…but, ever since that scientist said it wasn’t possible…what else can I do?”
 
I then look around the town, still bustling with activity
 
Me: “It’s been a while since I’ve seen Jonis and Gerald…hope they’re doing okay?”

(Eh, sure, why not.)
 
Walking in the town was one that seemed to stick out, a brown changeling with an orange underbelly. He lacked wings, but his tail was orange as well. He was carrying something in his green magic, a bag of groceries of some sort. The most peculiar feature were the milky-white eyes he had.
 
He bumped right into Matias, and had something of a confused expression.
 
“Oh, ah, I apologize, sir or ma’am.” He said, looking at the leg instead of the person, still holding his bag in his magic.

Me: “It’s fine. I’ve experienced worse bumps” Looks the newcomer over “You don’t look like a pony?”

(Yes, but my character doesn’t know that.)
 
The changeling hummed. “From the voice, male then. And that is correct, good sir, for I am a changeling! I recently moved here.”

(Uh, the premise of this thread is that you end up in Equestria as a pony…)
 
Me: A changeling? I’ve heard the name before. It was a shapeshifting creature in Earth folklore. Heh, I guess the slight irony is: I used to be human but then forcibly shapeshifted into a pony when I got here…with no way to change back.

(Sorry about that, I just sort of saw the last few posts and went for it. I edited my post to fix that issue, though we can probably just ignore the little snafu for now.)
 
“I don’t really know what a human is, but that does sound interesting!” The changeling said. At no point did he really make eye contact, looking in his general direction but not quite at him.

Me: “Um…I don’t know much about Changelings…but I do wonder why you’re not looking at me?” Widens eyes “Oh no! Do I have a nosebleed!?” Checks face by touching with hoof

“Huh? Oh, I do apologize.” The changeling said. “I am blind. As such, sadly I cannot tell you if you have a nosebleed or not.”
 
His horn pulsed with magic on top of the telekinesis spell he was using, and the changeling looked a bit more directly at him.

Me: Realizes mistake “Oh…I’m- I’m so sorry. I should’ve known when you said ‘From the voice’. I guess a tjockskalle (thick-head) like me can miss obvious clues…
 
(My character’s Swedish so I’ll leave translations next to them)

“Oh, don’t you worry about that.” He said. He held out a hoof in his general direction. “My name is Texty.”

Me: Grabs hoof and shakes “Name’s Matias Andersson but you can call me Matias. It’s nice to make your acquaintance”
 
Notices the bag “Doing a bit of late shopping I see?”
