The Horror at Ponyville (NSFW)

Equestria has entered the Roaring Twenties, a golden age of economic prosperity. It is an era of fast cars, jazz, fine clothes, and wild parties, but behind the cheery surface is an evil that is incomprehensible. Monsters and cults lurk in the shadows of society, stalking and preying on the innocent and unsuspecting, however for a time Ponyville was spared this horror…until the opening night of Ponyville’s History Museum.
 
This is a Cthulhu Mythos thread, but you don’t have to know what it is to understand. To emphasize the economic prosperity of Equestria all players can have a car and/or a firearm of their choice. In this thread you will be fighting eldritch abominations (basically grotesque monsters from other dimensions or were here before recorded history) and cultists. Weapons and magic are allowed, however technology is restricted to the 1920s. Also Ponyville is just the starting location, the thread does not have to stay there and it is bigger than in the show.

He wears well polished black armor most of the time but any other attire would be something such as a red long sleeve shirt with a large white and black checkered scarf and even a cloak

Most of his life he was an orphan adopted by a Unicorn(his father) and a Pegasus(his mother) and spent a carefree and adventurous time as a foal which got him into tons of trouble, Solumn was even bullied on a daily basis due to his hybrid dna/abnormal appearance, as the years passed and the death of his parents didn’t help, he had gained a certain drive to defend himself and others who had lived lives similar to his own.  
At a young age he was drafted into guard due to a soldier shortage and his skill being not only being observed but also wanted This drive forced him to train day in and day out until his body hurt and eventually lead him into the elite guard, where he first didn’t fit in due to his poor social ability, physical appearance. It was anticipated that his drive, dedication, and ambitions would carry him into the top of his class.
 
Combined with his prodigious weapon skills, fast thinking, nimble ability, swiftness, and blind devotion to protect others than himself, Solumn easily earned the title “Selfless Protector” and was able to overcome a couple of events where not just his own but many others lives were on the line.  
Despite his physique, he is able to toss stallions twice his size with little effort, and displays great dexterity in combat as well as lethality, striking with blinding quickness and precision, leaving any normal opponent no time to respond.
 
The rise of the apocalyptic world lead to the death of a numerous amount his friends, comrades and almost himself which mentally shattered him. Now he just wanders Equestria with a cold heart, dark mind and soulless eyes, blaming himself for the sudden catastrophe.

(Good, but one thing you should know is that the monsters attacking people isn’t public knowledge, no one knows about it except a select few that are either dead, sent to the asylum, or keep it to themselves in fear of being sent to an asylum it’s a masquerade of sorts. It isn’t an apocalyptic world…yet. The guards are around but you would have been most likely drafted for the army, which is around in this time and will play a role later on in the story, oh and “normal” is hardly the word I’d use to describe our opponents!)
