Without trying to dodge, the spear cuts Maximus’s leg, leaving a bit of a gash.

[OOC: If you were interested, here was my strange, short-term plan:  
They could either attempt to join the soldiers that went by their master’s house earlier or Imago could temporarily become a gladiator so the two could get some money. Piper, meanwhile, could find political opportunities…historical accuracy be darned!
