Huh, non-unicorn with a magic motif on her cutie mark, that sounds interesting. And either “cutie mark story” I can think of sounds a bit crazy, but it can work.
 
That and a bird-related cutie mark are things that I seem to be attracted to for her, like an earth pony trying to reach different goals or something.
 
Maybe I’m just overthinking all of this and just need a creative break?

Sadly, it’s a part I’ve been in a slump for a few days; thought picking the cutie mark first could help the case (and toss some originality in there as well) but even my most basic of ideas for her are rather complicated.
 
As in, a modest earthpony mare yet with some unique trait or talent. Boring, but I’m at my comfiest with humble characters

That’s one part I have a bit of a problem with; there’s a lot of cute li’l options around but I can’t decide on one for her.
 
From anything related to winged critters while she’s earthbound, to running/racing (even though I discarded a related cutie mark) and everything related to the other CM ideas I named above, _{I’m sort of bad at making decisions, and usually have a bunch of ideas just sitting there.}

Hello, forum reader! Have you ever been goin’ around, makin’ an OC or two or twelve and all of a sudden, wanting their cutie mark to be something special or unique?
 
Probably relatable! And unrelated to that, I made an honest attempt at drawing my first cutie mark idea. Didn’t turn up too well, and I’m considering others that are already in my mind.
 
My question is, are any of these unique/original enough?
 
• Anything with a crayon, like a doodled heart or any cute shape, and bam, crayon in the center  
• Seashells _{if I ever get to draw ’em right}  
• Feathers (two or three of them)  
• Dragonflies (sounds cute but I’m not too sure on that one)  
• Ice cream (there’s some color liberty with that)  
• A sapling (probably already used)  
• A brush (maybe?)
 
Feedback is heavily appreciated, suggestions are welcome as well!
