Flash is still running and functioning on web browsers as of today. Reports of its demise were apparently greatly exaggerated. The killswitch on the newer versions of flash will activate on January 12th though.

Only three days left before flash is dead! Hope all of you have played Level 10 of Stinkoman 20X6 already!

Why is the music related to everything Level 10 so freaking awesome?! The OST for this game was already a banger but its clear The Brothers Chaps had to bring out the big guns for what may be the final flash game. Just listening to it makes me thing of how much time has gone by since Level 9. Last time I was there, I was a teen who wasn’t allowed to play video games at the time under the rule of a tyrant/drill instructor hybrid. But now here I am, by complete luck I am living on my own. Despite Homestar Runner going mostly into hibernation, I found other passions like this fandom. But I have never forgotten Homestar Runner and the memories I’ve had with that site. But I knew if H*R were to completely retire without finishing Stinkoman 20X6, I would have been super pissed. With the Flash format on its deathbed, it made me wonder if The Brothers Chaps were intentionally waiting toward a moment like this despite teasing Level 10 back in 2018? It could be seen as a dick move but just being able to play Level 10 as the finale to the flash format is just so fitting.
 
Another thing about the music for Level 10 is that was done by a different composer known as U.Z Inu. This may because of how much time has changed for the video game scene since 2005 but some people are speculating that U.Z Inu is really……………..Toby Fox.

I have finished Level 10 of Stinkoman 20X6. I will not spoil anything in case none of you played it yet.

I think that’s relevant considering its related to the future of flash. I’ve even see The Brothers Chaps make a small short related to Ruffle on their Twitter.

But, since Adobe® will not give support to Flash® anymore, Newgrounds is working in a new engine to play the classic and new Flash animations. It’s called Ruffle, here’s more information. If they delete this post, at least save the link.

For anybody who wants to see what I was like when Flash entertainment was my life and possibly some cringe, I present my Newgrounds account!

Kind of off-topic, but Newgrounds was my first exposure to hentai.

I probably shouldn’t have been watching Joe Cartoon and Happy Tree Friends in 3rd-4th grade.

I actually remember when an old provider showed me Joe Cartoon in early 2002. My parents quickly stamped out on that quickly.
 
Heh, I remember browsing the Happy Tree Friends fandom. So many cute OCs and surprisingly not all of them have had least one death.

I grew up watching Joe Cartoon and Happy Tree Friends.

Banana Terracotta Pie and the Super Mario Land parodies from Bigfoot on Newgrounds are how I first heard of System of a Down. I remember Banana Terracotta Pie because it had Pikachu in it. The song itself was Vincinty of Obscenity, the song from the Mario video was Pizza Pie.

Far from it, its really a Sonic game that involves destroying the clothes of characters to progress. The first game is still up but the sequel has been taken down not too long ago because of copyrighted music.
 
I think I remember seeing that series highlighted somewhere on Newgrounds long ago. But that kind of humor was definitely the acceptable standard back then.

Weird Al’s music has definitely had its fair share of appearing in multiple flash cartoons.

I remember watching a Weird Al animation on Albinoblacksheep, as in That’s Your Horoscope For Today. It was back in 2006, I believe.

On topic, a guilty pleasure for me is Tomorrow’s Nobodies.
 
It’s like an amateurish take on early Family Guy. A couple jokes that weren’t exactly “PC” to begin with have gotten even less so over the years. Like, looking back at it, there’s more dumb homophobic jokes than I remembered. And edgy child abuse jokes that are more uncomfortable for me now that I’m older. But when I was at the age where any reference to sex and/or drugs was inherently funny, it was my jam.

Also, its quite sad coming from me that I feel the same way about a porn game that I considered an important part of my childhood.
