Seeing as it seems to be used by some artists as a shorthand for the latter it should be aliazed.
I’m having 2nd guesses cuz if you think about it it could be that >=1 char could be presented as not having a back or a spine, but I can’t confirm if such stuff exists cuz that’d go into
