Do not get me started on the two-parters. I could rant for days on end about those. But hell at least there they’re given a modicum of character.
 
And my point was that Starlight never has any sort of interaction with the Mane 6 sans at best Twilight, that at no point does she compliment the Mane 6, instead only shoving them aside as well as that the narrative ultimately favors Starlight.  
People say that Starlight was the one to save the day because the entire story was structured around her. Thorax was a walking Exposition Ex Machina, Discord was just there to get them to the hive (Notice how they immediately throw in a Anti-magic stone to completely neutralize him And he’s the one to go first.) and Trixie was emotional support/comedic relief. The main thrust of the entire story and its emotional weight was squarely on Starlight’s shoulders, not anyone else.

I’m agree. The best characters in the final season ere Trixie and Discord with their great dynamics. Starlight was a great character but she only advised Thorax to show all his power. So, in general, Starlight was less “I’m the only pony worth it” in the S6, than Twilight in the seasons 1,3 and 5.

Starlight doesn’t save the day alone in the S6 finale though…… Like it’s actually one of the most team based 2 parters in the series, every character has moments where if they didn’t do what they did the entire operation would of failed and Chrysalis would of won, can you really say that of episodes like say Canterlot Wedding or Twilight’s Kingdom? But because that team wasn’t the Mane 6 people get mad. Like people act like Starlight totally saved the day herself, she actually loses and what she does is basically encourage THORAX who is the actual main hero of that story to save the day.
 
The point of that episode was to have a “Secondary character’s have the be the hero’s” thing, that’s it really. I don’t really view it much differently to how easily beaten the not-Twilight Mane 6 are in most other 2 parters, they just didn’t have time to put it on screen this time.

I am too, but it’s amazing how much the phrasing of the line affected peoples’ expectations.

Yeah, the polish line sounds more reverent of starlight, while the english line is more doubtful and concerned towards star

Yeah, they basically mean the same thing but the way it’s phrased in the Polish version (or at least the subtitles) seems to give it a different feeling.

Well, maybe with the years thing it’s true, but both Sunset’s lines are still appropriate to the situation. Maybe the Polish dubbing team decided that their version rolled of the tongue better in this situation.

For me Sunset’s Polish phrase fits better, because in English it sounds like Sunset already know that Starlight caused the mirror to break, but how she know it?

Maybe they change once, but it’s not the reason to have that hatred. Polish dub is not shitty at all.

Only things I can think of are this and the Polish version saying Sunset’s been away from Equestria for years instead of a vague “all this time.”

Ha i knew it, thats why i hate our Polish dub, they tend change the fucking context or words idiots, and worst part is that movie in Poland is only going be released in our shitty dub ffs
