It’s been a year

Since I finally got my season 6 DVD, I can finally watch this season. Look forward to it along with rewatching the select few I did.

Sounds like poor compiling on Shout! Factory’s part. Then again, they might have had no choice but to work with whatever Hasbro gave them which included the edited version of episode for some reason.

But if they were going to make the “juice” version the official one than why didn’t they do the same thing with Top Bolt?

There almost certainly won’t be a UK release, it’s probably that now the apple juice version is the default version of the episode.

Weird thing is, “Top Bolt” mentioned cider a couple times, and it only got edited in the UK TinyPop airing and not any of the US releases.

Perhaps Shout! Factory just got lazy and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of creating and distributing more than one version of the release just for the sake of a minor difference in a single episode, although that’s assuming they’re also the distributers of the UK releases.
 
This has me wondering if the show’s just going to stop using the term “cider” for the rest of its run to avoid further conflicts like this.

Friend of mine just got the Season 6 DVD, and apparently the DVD release of “Where the Apple Lies” still has all instances of “cider” replaced with “juice.”
 
I can understand why they’d do this for UK releases, but why are non-UK releases affected too?

If this was s5 for her cult leader speaking, I could understand.
 
But s6? This has nothing to do with her character, it’d her voice. S6’s starlight? I literally can’t think of any character in mlp that has a voice less invested and more stilted then her. And I honestly don’t think it’s the actresses fault, just the writers don’t know how she naturally would interact with anyone but trixie.

Seabreeze is the least popular of the key givers? I thought it would be Silver Shill.

One thing I would’ve hoped to see from the finale, though, is Discord fucking shit up with chaos shenanigans after they managed to break the throne.

I finally watched season 6 (all but the first 3-4 episodes) this weekend and had a good-old time, which I assume is eccentric.

Good news is that the season seven premiere seems to start RIGHT after season six ends [like literally a day or two after the season six finale episode], so it’ll be easy to transition.
