We need a new Tag Duel, if just to give characters the good version of their terrible anime decks. Fortune Fairies are vanillas, TG were very specific and not as good as their real life versions. You get the idea.

Solidarity increases the ATK of all monsters you control, if both they and the monsters in your GY have the same original type.Also, if you’re using one type only, Rivalry of Warlords prevents either player from using more than one monster type as long as its on the board, potentially limiting your opponent’s options in regards to summoning monsters.For Lunalights, Cat/Panther Dancer in particular, I would recommend using Horn of the Phantom beast, which increases the equipped monsters ATK by 800, and lets you draw a card every time it destroys an opponent’s monster in battle, such as using either of their effects.

ThoughI think for the Switch version re-release they nerfed the deck used by the rare hunter that had the exodia deck. He’s a real menace int he original spamming swords of revealing light and graceful charity.

Gameplay speed, the unskippable summon videos, constant asking if I want to use an ability without a “fast” way to dismiss it, you get the idea. Oh, and the story decks are shit. I just used what I could get and made an ABC deck to breeze through the story duels in DM and made a Destiny Hero deck for GX.

He was inspired by his love for anime and manga too. You could definitely feel his love for Akira in 5Ds, which was one of his top three favorite anime/manga series. Another one of his top three favorites was Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which I believe is what inspired him to do all the Egyptian mythology stuff in the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, given that the most iconic part of Jojo is about a quest to Egypt.
