You know I actually knew someone who detransitioned once, and while he definitely wasn’t happy while transitioning and comments from others didn’t help, once he stopped transitioning he just, lived his life like normal
He didn’t complain, he didn’t whine, he just went on with his life
Maybe detransitioners should follow his lead and take some personal responsibility for their actions

It’s actually not confirmed whether Alexander and Hephaestion were lovers, but there are a lot “that’s kinda extreme even for close friends” moments in the history books
Like them circling the tombs of Achilles and Patroclus(while the two aren’t explicitly homosexual in the Iliad, many Greek writers before Alexander very much thought they were) and Alexander grieving hardcore over his death(the fact that he tried to deify him as a god like future emperor Hadrian did when his twink boyfriend died isn’t lost on me)
It’s worth noting that if they did have a homosexual relationship, they would have an interest in concealing it because either one of them being a “bottom” in a gay relationship would be deeply embarrassing(because you know, Ancient Greece), so that could be an explanation why it isn’t explicit in ancient sources
With that being said he had explicitly homosexual relations with a Persian eunuch called Bagoas so he was definitely bi at least

With Microsoft forming an AI game initiative, I fear TESVI will destroy Elder Scroll lore discussions(since BGS is a Microsoft subsidiary)
Elder Scrolls lore discussion debates down to the arrangement of words in a sentences, if this shit becomes AI generated then it will lose all meaning, what’s the point of debating lore when lore changes between each game save, let alone different copies?
And then there’s also the worry of layoffs due to the technology, and considering BGS has laid off Kurt Kuhlmann, a long time series writer, my worries only increase

You know, despite Morrowind being praised as so much more esoteric and deep than Skyrim and Oblivion, it’s pretty funny how CHIM, one of the most famous esoteric concepts in the elder scrolls, is only elaborated upon in Skyrim and Oblivion
CHIM in Morrowind is just something Vivec claims he learned from Molag Bal and that’s all we know about it(if you exclude unofficial out of game sources, which you should)
The claim of CHIM’s metaphysical powers only appear in Oblivion and Skyrim
I’m not disputing that many aspects of Morrowind are probably far deeper than those games, but considering how famous CHIM is, it’s still kinda hilarious how much of its esoteric nature comes from the later games

I think the key difference is the IDF seems to have used civilian disguises to minimize fatalities
According to who and how so? They are literally amidst civilians while conducting the raid, they are very much endangering civilians by disguising themselves as civilians. It’s not like they came in when no one’s around(which would never happen because, you know, hospital), they disguise themselves as civilians and engaged in active combat amongst civilians
I don’t think they did it to deliberately endanger civilians but they very much didn’t give a shit about civilians while conducting this either

If a random weed dealer can manage to have a lookout for the cops, I’m feeling safe in assuming that a Hamas chief would, too, and either bugged out/hid the instant someone spotted a uniform two blocks away, or armed up to pull off a “last stand”, with all those staff and patients as cover.
This is a pretty poor excuse considering this style of raid could’ve caused a lot of civilian casualties because it doesn’t take a lot of thinking to realise the consequences of making civilians and combatants near indistinguishable
If it isn’t acceptable for Hamas to use civilian disguises(which it isn’t), it shouldn’t be acceptable for the IDF either

They provided no proof so far that there was one, IDF claims shouldn’t be taken at face value considering they have backpedaled on several claims before
But let’s assume it was, why was there a need to disguise themselves as doctors and civilians? Wouldn’t that endanger the staff and patients of the hospital if there was a Hamas presence there? The IDF has the legal right to use obvious military force in the West Bank, they do it constantly, so why do this?
Furthermore, did they have to do it in the hospital? Did the supposed Hamas chief live 24/7 there? I find that hard to believe, so was a forced armed confrontation in such a space needed?
