I started a new run on DS2, this time with the class that starts with two +1 swords, and Iām pretty sure Iām already at the first boss.

It does wear off, but you can use it to attack the mimic once without it aggroing and to farm itās hat.

So I just learnt that throwing an undead hunter charm at a mimic will essentially disable it, allowing you to pick up whatever item itās holding.
Also I managed to finally get a flamberge, and was surprised that itās a 15/14 Str/Dex requirement, which is lower than I was expecting.
